Move, Part I

Today was round one of moving across town to live with the Imler family. It went well. We now have almost our whole house over there sitting in our bedroom. I wish I would have taken a picture. It's slightly nightmare-ish, but Jake assures me that it'll be easy to organize. He's good at that. (reader is probably thinking- good at assuring or organizing? ambiguity is purposeful). Thank you JR., Scott, Adriene, and Bryce for helping us today. The trucks, trailers, and hands were answered prayers.

For next week, our plan of action is organizing everything that is already there into its place.

Then the following week, Move Part II will occur. I will update the progress.

A Little Blessing

I just got off the phone with the electric company, setting up a new account for when we move into our new apt. in a couple weeks. The customer service representative and I had a nice little conversation about being a stay-at-home mom, and afterwards, she said, "you know what, i think that i'm not going to charge you a deposit and service fee. you guys have great payment history. keep up the good work." it was so great! i mean, it's not like i could have gone anywhere else to get my electric (so they weren't competing for my business), but they still rewarded us for good payment history. so cool! A great surprise!
