Around the Kitchen Table

The other weekend we went to my parent's house for about 24 hours to see my dad and brother. We all have birthdays around one another- Nick's is the 3rd, my dad's is the 6th, and mine is the 9th (of March).

Below is a picture of one of my favorite things to do with my dad- talk! I enjoy sitting at the table, beverages in front of us, and talking about anything under the sun- God, politics, world news, TV, our daily lives, etc.



Maybe this is why it's important to me for Jake and I and the kids to have a big, comfortable, inviting kitchen table someday (soon!)!
